Firefox v.3.6, released January 21st, 2010.Firefox 3.6 is built on Mozilla's Gecko 1.9.2 web rendering platform, which has been under development since early 2009 and contains many improvements for web developers, add-on developers, and users. PIP3 installed on your Ubuntu/Debian rig. Mozilla Firefox installed on your Ubuntu/Debian system. Now we will start the installation process. Step 1: Create Python3 Virtual Environment. First of all we install virtualenv using pip3 command type the following command in terminal. $ sudo pip3 install virtualenv Install virtualenv. Umake web firefox-dev It will prompt you where to install Firefox, and then download it automatically and install it. If you are using ubuntu (unity), in the launcher, a new icon Firefox Developer Edition has been pinned. Click on it to launch your freshly installed Firefox Developer Edition. For a person who does not want to open the Command Line much, installing a software present in the Ubuntu repository through the UI is very simple. On your Ubuntu desktop Activities toolbar, click the Ubuntu Software icon. Click the search icon and enter FireFox in the search bar. The search results will list the Firefox entry as follows. Before installing a new version of Firefox from a separate software repository, it’s a good idea to update the packages on your OpenSUSE Linux system. Updating your system is essential and will ensure that your system has the latest packages and patches, which make the Firefox app run better.

Ubuntu

For Ubuntu 9.10 Users

Open the command prompt and run the following commands

sudo add-apt-repository ppa:ubuntu-mozilla-daily/ppa

Update source list

sudo apt-get update

Install firefox 3.6

sudo apt-get install firefox-3.6

Install Firefox Ubuntu Command Line

For Other ubuntu version Users

First you need to edit /etc/apt/sources.list file

gksudo gedit /etc/apt/sources.list

Add the one of the following lines

For Ubuntu 9.04 (Jaunty) Users

deb http://ppa.launchpad.net/ubuntu-mozilla-daily/ppa/ubuntu jaunty main
deb-src http://ppa.launchpad.net/ubuntu-mozilla-daily/ppa/ubuntu jaunty main Silent poets asylums for the feeling feat leila adu.

For Ubuntu 8.10 (Intrepid) Users

deb http://ppa.launchpad.net/ubuntu-mozilla-daily/ppa/ubuntu intrepid main
deb-src http://ppa.launchpad.net/ubuntu-mozilla-daily/ppa/ubuntu intrepid main

For Ubuntu 8.04 (Hardy) Users

deb http://ppa.launchpad.net/ubuntu-mozilla-daily/ppa/ubuntu hardy main
deb-src http://ppa.launchpad.net/ubuntu-mozilla-daily/ppa/ubuntu hardy main

Save and exit the file

Now you need to add PPA GPG key

sudo apt-key adv --keyserver keyserver.ubuntu.com --recv-keys 247510BE

Update the source list

Apt Install Firefox

sudo apt-get update

Install Firefox Ubuntu Command Line

Install Firefox 3.6

Install Firefox Ubuntu Cli

sudo apt-get install firefox-3.6

If you already have a version of Firefox 3.5 installed from a repo then upgrade using the following command

sudo apt-get upgrade

Install Firefox Ubuntu Tar.bz2
